It was cold!
Snow!, Rain, then sun, hail! We had it all.
But it all made for a glorious adventure for several of us die hard, hearty souls. We paddled and explored in all weather. Fallen Leaf Lake campground is on my best of Tahoe list for sure. There was a great place to launch boats right from the campground. Camp Richardson is just down the road with the Beacon restaurant, general store, ice cream and coffee store.
About half the group was cozy in campers and vans but several were sleeping in their cars. Boy did I appreciate my Charley! I was very cozy and always had a place to warm up in between adventures.
